TRINITY WEEKLY BULLETIN - Week commencing 13 April 2026

Whole School Updates

Trinity School Fund

Mrs Whittle and the Chairs of Governors were very happy to talk to so many parents this week at Parents Evening, and the teachers really enjoyed sharing the progress the children have made over the past term.

Thank you to everyone who expressed an interest in contributing to our Trinity School Fund. Our school Governing body is 100% committed to maintaining high standards of education and they really appreciate any support you can offer. To make a regular (or one-off) contribution please visit: www.trinityprimaryschool.org/fund

There is no set amount and any contribution, however small, will make a real difference. Thank you.

Road Safety

Oxfordshire County Council’s child pedestrian Road Safety scheme, Footsteps has been improved with the addition of a series of short videos to be used alongside their step-by-step guide.  Learning to cope with traffic is a practical skill, which can’t be learnt in the classroom. As parents / carers, you are the best people to help your child develop this knowledge as you spend the most time out and about with them. Please click here - Footsteps | Oxfordshire County Council - to access these helpful resources.

Instagram

As mentioned by Mrs Whittle in this term's newsletter, we have relaunched our Instagram account @trinityprimaryschoolhenley as a way of sharing special moments of school life and showcasing to potential new families what life is like at Trinity. Please give us a follow!

SEND Football

Rotherfield Utd FC will be continuing to offer SEND Football sessions on Saturday morning 10:00 - 11:00am on 25th April, 9th, 16th and 23rd May and 6th and 13th June. These sessions are for children in Years 1-6 who attend mainstream school settings but have a SEND need, are currently on their schools’ SEN register and receive SEN support, or have an EHCP in place. For more information, or to book, please CLICK HERE.

School of the Month

Look out for our school appearing in the April issue of Henley Life magazine as 'School of the Month'. You can pick up a copy locally, from places like the Rugby Club, Waitrose and the Library. A preview can be found at the bottom of this Bulletin.

Next term we will be starting our new topic of Come Fly With Me! - The Arctic Circle in Learning Means the World. In preparation for this, we would like the children to bring in photos, on Monday 13th April, to support them when talking about their experiences of visiting very cold places.
