TRINITY WEEKLY BULLETIN - Week commencing 2nd June 2025

Whole School Updates

School Fund

Thank you so much to those people who have committed to giving a regular contribution to our School Fund. We have recently used some of this money to enhance our technology provision at school and also to further resource our Reading Challenge, due to its huge popularity. The Fund has reached £5,000 and we will be looking to invest this at the beginning of next academic year where it is needed most. If you feel able to contribute, please visit our SCHOOL FUND page.

Year 6 play

We have been really impressed this week by the bravery shown by all of the Year 6 children. It was incredibly hard to cast Matilda as everyone really did themselves proud. We announced the parts today and gave each child their own copy of the script. It would be great if over half term they could spend some time looking at their lines and listening to the songs. The version of the musical we are doing is 'Matilda Junior' if your child wants to listen to the soundtrack on YouTube. We know that some children will be disappointed if they did not get the part they wanted. However, Matilda requires lots of cast members on stage for a large amount of the play, so please reassure your child that there will be plenty of opportunities to sing, dance and act.

Next term

We have a number of exciting events in the planning for Year 5 and 6 next term, including: Year 6 rowing taster session and PGL residential; the Year 5 trip to Hill End and various sporting opportunities. Please do keep an eye out for these emails and ensure that you reply with your consent and any other details requested as soon as you can as it really helps with our planning and logistics. As ever, we are very grateful to those parents who continue to help support these events.
