Five Year Strategic Plan
Following on from extensive feedback from governors, staff, parents and pupIls, we have produced an ambitious five year strategic plan for the future of Trinity School. The key points of this plan can be found on our Development, Strategy & Benchmarking page of our website and we hope you will take the time to have a look.

Safer Internet Day
This week, we have joined the nationwide campaign to celebrate Safer Internet Day. AI technology is playing an increasingly large role in our lives and it's important that we discuss these tools and the impact they can have on our online experiences. We encourage you to continue these conversations at home and here are some resources that might help:
A key part of protecting children from online harms is through preventative education. By talking about this in school and at home, we can all work towards keeping children safe when they are online.
Children's Mental Health Week (9th - 13th February)
As part of Children's Mental Health Week, we will be engaging pupils in a range of activities that promote positive mental health and wellbeing. This year's theme is 'This Is My Place' and it recognises the human need to feel that we belong, which in turn empowers us to contribute positively to our world around us and make a real difference.
Throughout the week, pupils will be given the opportunity to learn about and practise some activities that can support their emotional wellbeing and mental health. It is hoped that through conversation and the opportunity to practise these activities, children will have a strategy they can utilise in school and at home.
If you'd like to start the conversation around mental health at home, there are lots of resources available through the Place2Be website: www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk/
Attending school on the last day of each half term
When we are breaking up for half-term holidays (in October, February and May) we finish at normal time, 3:15pm.
When we break up for major holidays (Christmas, Easter and the Summer), we finish our school day at 1:15pm, after the afternoon register has been taken. Please note that even though we finish two hours early 3 times per year, these are still classed as 'sessions' and missing these sessions counts as an absence.
Resolving concerns or complaints
Schools across the UK are seeing a rise in parental complaints, driven in part by social media and AI-generated content, so the Department for Education, Ofsted and Parentkind have produced resources for both schools and parents in resolving concerns / complaints in a respectful and transparent way.
More details can be found on our Frequently Asked Questions page, or please see the guide below:
