Class Updates

Comic Relief

Thank you to everyone who donated to our Comic Relief fundraiser at the end of last term, helping Trinity raise over £700.  A special mention goes to Lara, who organised her own fundraising event by swimming laps of Gillotts Pool, raising over £130. Not only did the children take part in a whole school dance party last term, but they also managed to unlock a staff challenge. In assembly on Friday 17th April, six teachers took part in a “What’s Inside the Box?” challenge, where they had to guess the mystery items placed inside — from cold baked beans to Marmite. The children had lots of fun watching the teachers squirm as they put their hands into the mystery box!

Clubs

The timetable for after-school clubs for this term has been updated and is available on our CLUBS page of the website. Please always check with the club provider which dates the club is running, as they don't always mirror our Trinity term dates.

Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium is extra funding schools receive to support eligible children and improve their education. If your child is in receipt of free school meals, or you receive certain benefits, your child may be eligible. The funding can benefit your child with free / subsidised school meals, trips and uniform. It is all processed in strict confidence, so please visit our Pupil Premium page on the website for more details. Trinity will apply on your behalf and it will not affect any other benefits that you receive.

Dates for your diary

Each week in the Bulletin we include a snapshot of dates for the weeks ahead, but it's not possible to list all the dates, so please remember you can access these at any time on our CALENDAR page and for future planning for holidays etc please visit TERM DATES.

Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2)

Named plant pot on Monday

Please can children in Years 1 and 2 bring a small, named plant pot / small plastic cup with holes in the bottom to school on Monday 20th April, so they can do some planting with Jill. If you have more than one that you can spare, please send them in as well.

Lower Key Stage 2 (Years 3 & 4)

Pilkey

Spellings for Term 5 are now available on our class homework page - CLICK HERE. Please note that the first two weeks' spellings are carried over from last term. Due to the Year 4 production they were not covered last term, so will be covered at the start of this term instead.

Journalling Club (Year 4)

If your child wishes to join Miss Newman's new lunchtime Journalling Club on a Wednesday, please remember to send them in with a packed lunch as it's not possible to take a school hot lunch into the classroom. If any parents have unwanted notebooks, please send them in to school for Journalling Club.
