Trinity Talent Show

We’re excited to announce the return of the Trinity Talent Show!

Over the past few years, children at Trinity have showcased their amazing talents to help raise funds for our school and our partner school in Uganda – New Brainstorm School. The show has become a much-loved event that students look forward to each year! We wanted to give children as much time to rehearse their talents, so please see the audition dates below. As this event is a fundraiser, please keep an eye out for the sign up / donation link in next week's Bulletin to sign your child up.

  • EY (Reception): Tuesday 30th July
  • KS1 (Yrs 1&2), plus mixed phases (Rosen, Coelho and Zephaniah classes: Wednesday 1st July
  • LKS2 (Yrs 3&4): Thursday 2nd July
  • UKS2 (Yrs 5&6): Monday 29th June

We can’t wait to see the amazing talents on display this year – good luck to all our performers!

Please take a look at our GALLERY page of the school website to view a selection of photos from our most recent events.

Coats

Given the unpredictable nature of the British weather, please always send your child to school with a coat, ideally a raincoat, as we try to get pupils outside at playtimes, unless the weather is really prohibitive.

National Thank a Teacher Day - 17th June

The 'Thank a Teacher' campaign recognises all staff working in schools and colleges; school leaders, teachers, teaching assistants, and all support staff such as lunchtime supervisors, caretakers and cleaners. If you’re feeling shy you can send a card anonymously, but it's always much appreciated when people take the time to do this. CLICK HERE to send an eCard. You will need to search for ''Trinity CofE Primary School - Vicarage Road'' when prompted for the school name.

Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2)

Forest School

Please can children be sent to school in clothes that are suitable for Forest School, on the relevant days. Clothes should ideally be dark colours and not precious, as they inevitably end up getting covered in mud. Long sleeves and tracksuit bottoms / long leggings are ideal to offer protection. Please avoid shorts and Tshirts, school PE tracksuit bottoms are perfect. If sending in wellies, please be sure to send them wearing an alternative pair of shoes to wear in school / during playtime.

Rosen Class Forest School - Thursday 25th June

Due to staffing arrangements, on Thursday 25th June Rosen Class will be having Forest School as a whole class from 1:00 – 2:00pm. As a result, the volunteer slot from 2:00 – 3:00pm will no longer be needed. Please could the volunteer who was due to attend from 2:00 – 3:00pm please be available to come from 1:00 – 2:00pm instead? Please could you confirm to your class rep? Thank you.

Phonics Screening

Huge congratulations to all the children who completed the phonics screening this week. Miss Rolfe was incredibly proud of their blending skills. Their results will be sent out as a separate document, alongside their school report at the end of term.
