We hope many of you will join us at 4:00pm on Thursday 7th May for our next Parent Information Session, focusing on Maths Mastery and specifically how we teach Maths at Trinity. For more details please CLICK HERE.

EY Building Development Presentation – Friday 15th May

We are delighted to invite current and new parents / carers into school at 9:00am on Friday 15th May to hear from James Clarke, who will be explaining about our exciting development plans for our EY building. James has been designing learning spaces for over 20 years, and he has been working alongside Mrs Whittle, Mrs Leppard and the Governors to develop our plans. This is just the start of our commitment to updating the school site and we hope many of you will come along to hear what is planned and give input.

The Great School Run – Sunday 17th May

The Great School Run is taking place on Sunday 17th May at Stonor Park from 9.30am. It is a cross-country event for children aged 3 to 17 (and their parents).

Booking is now open: https://thegreatschoolrun.org/. While on-the-day entries will be accepted, please note that participants must register in advance to be eligible for the school cup.

The Great School Run is free to enter, but we are encouraging a suggested donation of £2 per participant for Ben vs Duchenne, a local charity which is raising awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Ben is a local boy living with DMD, and many of you within your school community may already know him as a past Trinity pupil.

Trinity: Learning Together Podcasts

At Trinity, we are always striving to strengthen our partnership with parents and carers. We understand that attending in-person workshops isn’t always possible due to other commitments, so we are exploring alternative ways to keep you informed and involved.

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new podcast: “Trinity: Learning Together”. https://media.rss.com/trinity-learning-together/feed.xml

Each episode will be short (no more than 10 minutes) and will provide practical information on how you can support your child’s learning at home.

We hope this will make it easier for families to stay connected with what we are doing in school and to access helpful guidance at a time that suits you. If you have any feedback, please contact Miss Newman at cnewman@trinityprimaryschool.org

Achievements Outside of School

We always love hearing about what pupils have been up to outside of school, whether it is musical, dramatic or sporting achievements. Please feel free to share with us by emailing office.3254@trinity.oxon.sch.uk.

Gates close at 3:30pm

The school gates will close at 3:30pm every day, even on Fridays when we have the cake sale taking place. If you need to exit the playground after the main gates have been closed, please leave via the small gate close to the main school reception. Adults can press the green button on the wall to release the gate. Please do not let pupils press this button and please ensure the gate closes behind you.

Year 5 Trip to Eyot Centre - Friday 22nd May

Year 5 children have the exciting opportunity to take part in a water sports activity session at the Eyot Centre on the morning of Friday 22nd May. This experience will allow the children to develop teamwork, confidence, and new skills in a safe and supportive outdoor environment. The activities will be led by trained instructors, and all necessary safety equipment will be provided.

The trip will leave Trinity at 9.00am to walk to the Eyot Centre, then leave the Eyot Centre at 12.00 for the return leg. We will need six adult volunteers to walk the children each way. Please look out for an email next week.
