Mayor of Henley Award

The Mayor of Henley Award is a structured programme designed to foster initiative and persistence in students. Children work towards Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels, each with a different time commitment and activity requirements. The initiative aims to encourage personal goals and inspire students to take on more challenges, potentially leading to the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

Pupils in Years 4 - 6 are able to take part in the Mayor of Henley Award, which comprises of three levels:

  • Bronze - Year 4 
  • Silver - Year 5
  • Gold - Year 6

The MoH Award features four key elements:

  • Faith
  • Physical
  • Skills
  • Expedition

As part of the 'Faith' section, Trinity pupils have:

  • Cooked meals for any elderly neighbour through the winter
  • Raised money for charities, such as Duchenne, Brain Tumour Charities, Cancer research (children have done triathlons, tough mudders, bake sales, made art and sold it to raise money for charity)
  • Done litter picking around the Henley area to keep the local community looking smart and help the local environment 
  • Been involved in the local church groups (helping/volunteering) and also raising money to support them
