Autumn Term 2025

Bryon class this week have been undertaking many different activities, they have been spelling CVC words, making spaceships nad spacestaions, creating patterns using different colours and counting to 10 and writing the numbers from 1-10.

The children had a fantastic time at Twiggy Wednesday this week! After all the recent rain, the outdoor area was full of mud – glorious mud! The children strengthened their gross-motor skills by sliding down the hill and climbing back up again, all while laughing and enjoying the challenge. They also loved digging, exploring the soft earth, and shaping their very own mud balls. In addition to the muddy fun, the children created beautiful poppies for Remembrance Week.

We really enjoyed dressing up for Space day and have spent the last two weeks learning all about what astronauts need in space, why astronauts float in space and what planets we have in our solar system and what they look like. We have also been working hard on our writing, forming new letters this week. We have been working on writing CVC words and writing sentences.

The children in EYFS have been exploring new activities in relation to our unit 'Happy to be me!' They have been making houses out of cardboard boxes and working on their fine motor skills.
