  • Girls Football Tournament success

    Published 23/05/25

On Wednesday 21st May, several KS2 girls joined Sacred Heart, Badgemore and Valley Road in a Football Tournament at Henley YMCA. Year 5/6 came second against a very strong team from Valley Road, showing incredible sportsmanship and great teamwork. Year 3/4 came first and second, and with just one point in it a fabulous fourth.

It was a fantastic afternoon, despite the thunderstorm and heavy rain and Mrs Evans was really proud of everyone. Well done girls!

  • Stonor Park Fun Run

    Published 19/05/25

On Sunday 18th May several families came together at Stonor Park to run 340m (EYFS), 780m (KS1), 920m (LKS2) or 1850m (UKS2 and adults). Trinity children (and parents) did remarkably well and there were several Trinity families on the podium. A huge well done to everyone who participated, and a special mention to Oscar who encouraged his sister, in Y1, all the way around the course, even running alongside as she came in first.

It was fantastic to see so many Trinity families - next year, let’s try for the trophy with the most participants from one school. Well done everyone.

  • World Book Day

    Published 10/03/25

World Book Day is always a highlight for pupils (and teachers).  This year children took part in a masked reader competition, where children had to guess which teachers were reading famous stories to them, while not showing their faces. They also took part in a word-based treasure hunt around the school site to unscramble words, which made up a well-known sentence from Winnie the Pooh. They all engaged in lots of fun activities in class, all based around our school book 'The Word Collector' and our whole school assembly celebrated the children who took part in our Extreme Reading Challenge, where children we photographed reading in unusual places outside.

Thank you to everyone who has donated and contributed to funding some more exciting playground pieces. Last count, we had reached nearly £2,000, which is super close to our target.
