  • Congratulations to Trinity Chef Jill who is a finalist in BBC's Make a Difference Award

    Published 03/06/24

Our very own Head Chef Jill is one of the finalists for BBC's Make a Difference Award 2024. The Awards are chance to say thank you and recognise those who love to make life better for others. Jill is a finalist for the Green Award, in recognition of Gardening Club, which she runs weekly, giving up her own free time to do this on a voluntary basis.  Jill is also responsible for the plants and flowers that appear as if by magic inside our school and she often comes to school in her free time in the holidays just to water the plants. Jill has a huge passion for gardening, which she enjoys sharing with the children at Trinity. Good luck Jill, we are all 'rooting' for you!

There were several other Trinity pupils who picked up awards in the 'Art' category competitions.  We also had two winning entries in the 'Film' competition, so hopefully we have some budding film makers at Trinity too.  It's great to win a trophy / prize, but it's just as important to take part, so well done to everyone who participated.

Lower Key Stage 2 enjoyed learning about Ancient Greece and put on a museum for the wider school and parents. We learnt about various topics, such as clothing, food, war, art and myths, and went on to research these for optional homework, creating some truly fantastic pieces of art and writing. The children truly enjoyed explaining to and interacting with other year groups, as well as to the adults, and in particular performing their Greek dances. We hope you enjoyed it too!

  • Flex-it! Parent Workshop

    Published 05/02/24

We are delighted to be able to offer a very special workshop by Nixon & Nixon for parents / carers to attend.  Taking place on Tuesday 12th March between 7:00 - 8:00pm, the workshop will inform parents about the Flex-it! approach, which we will be introducing across the school to support children's mental health and well being.

Flex-it! will support children with managing their anxiety and developing emotional flexibility. The Flex-it! approach is intended to improve children's physical and mental health whilst developing stronger relationships with adults and their peers. We are hoping that this approach will support the children to become more aware of how they respond to and manage situations, helping them to regulate their emotions.

We will be asking parents who attend this training for a voluntary contribution of £5.00
